Lely Resort is a 3,000-acre master-planned community in south Naples off US 41 and Collier Boulevard, with about 4,500 homes in roughly 40 separately managed neighborhoods. It has 54 holes of golf: the public Flamingo Island and Mustang courses and the private Classics Country Club, plus The Players Club & Spa, which is required in some neighborhoods and optional in others.

Lely Resort is a 3,000-acre master-planned community in south Naples, between US 41 (Tamiami Trail East) and Collier Boulevard in ZIP 34113. Lely Development began it around 1990, and Stock Development bought the first portion in 2002 and later the rest. It has about 4,500 homes in roughly 40 neighborhoods, from condos and coach homes to villas, single-family homes and custom estates, most of them separately gated with their own associations. Lely Resort Boulevard itself is a county road.

**Golf.** The resort has 54 holes. Flamingo Island (Robert Trent Jones Sr., 7,095 yards) and Mustang (Lee Trevino, 7,230 yards) are public daily-fee courses, and their 25,000 sq ft clubhouse houses Sam Snead's Oak Grill & Tavern, open to the public. The Classics (Gary Player, 6,714 yards) is a private club with Full Golf, Executive, Social Sport and Social memberships and no assessments; members also get preferred tee times on the public courses. Golf membership is optional for residents.

**The Players Club & Spa.** This 15-acre club on Grand Lely Drive has resort-style pools, a 6,000 sq ft fitness center and spa, 13 Har-Tru tennis courts including a stadium court, 4 pickleball and 4 bocce courts, dining and a dog park. Membership is required for homes under the amenities covenant (most homes sold after February 10, 2003) and optional elsewhere. In 2026 it costs a $10,000 refundable deposit and $6,400 a year plus tax.

**Costs.** Owners pay the Lely Resort Master POA fee (about $119 a year in 2026, usually inside the neighborhood fee), a neighborhood association fee and, inside the district, the Lely Community Development District assessment on the tax bill ($997 a year in FY2027). The CDD maintains the boulevards, irrigation and lakes and runs a community patrol. A typical listing shows about $947 a month in association and club fees combined. Most neighborhoods allow three leases a year with a 30-day minimum.
